Acting for Film & Television will focus on being yourself and feeling comfortable on film. You will learn the basic film terminology that you will need to know in order to work in front of a camera while shooting a film.

You will begin learning the process of how to create an honest performance on camera by actor preparation, script analysis, camera technique and improvisation. Students will begin to learn how to make character choices by using your imagination and creative instinct.

Students will begin to work from sides (scripts from TV shows and notable films) they will learn about an actor's protocol on set and crew responsibilities. On completion of this level students will prepare an on camera slate, intro and commercial audition reel to put on the VMTM's website.

This course will continue to explore the fundamentals and process of film acting at a more advanced level.
